100 Bullets Brother Lono #1: We get more of the 100 Bullets saga! The entire creative team returns to bring back one of 100 Bullets popular characters, Lono, in this 8-issue mini series!

My Little Pony Micro Series #5 Pinkie Pie: Starring sweet Pinkie Pie! And if you missed Ms. Fluttershy, we still have a few in stock of issue #4 as well. Pick up yours while supplies last!

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS2: Make your cash no laughing matter with your new JOKER Mighty Wallet, pick up the second volume of the fantastic series MIND THE GAP, and the third ADVENTURE TIME trade as well!

REDMOND

Joe’s Picks!

Avengers #14: Kicking off Infinity, can even the Avengers powerhouse team handle Thanos? My money is on Hyperion as always.

Danger Girl Trinity #3: J Scott Campbell does what he does best with beautiful girls and blazing action.

Wonder Woman #21: It’s time to see what The First Born can really do, and if Wonder Woman can come out unscathed.

Jared’s Picks!

Baltimore The Inquisitor One-shot: I’m not sure if it’s the shadowy gothic art or the dull ring of storytelling horror that has me hooked on Baltimore. Either way, it’s amazing.

Captain Midnight #0: From the age of the radio drama, by way of golden age comics, this one-shot collects a story originally published in Dark Horse Presents. Action and adventure with a WWII fighter pilot, this is the real deal.

Dark Horse Presents #25: I love short stories, weird tales, and serials. This month features Matt Fraction writing something about time travel.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS3: Take advantage of the NOWHERE MEN re-stock of issues #1-4 (various printings), get a new DOCTOR WHO keychain or two, and check out the Series 6 VENTURE BROS action figures!

U-DISTRICT

Sean’s Picks!

100 Bullets Brother Lono #1: It’s a little disappointing when a publisher becomes narrow sighted and chooses to revisit the same well over and over again rather than give a creator license to pursue something original. But let’s be honest…DC/Vertigo could have done a lot worse by not selecting 100 Bullets as a title to continue. Same creative team, same pulpy good crime.

Wild Blue Yonder #1: Diesel-punk skypirates, Zeppelin warships, and Tailspin homages. What Rocketeer could possibly resist!

Carl’s Picks!

Crater XV HC: Canada’s favorite Arctic pirate Armitage Shanks is back in this sequel to 2009’s Far Arden.

Heck HC: Do you remember the Replacement God? I think this is Zander Cannon’s first original book since then, and I’m excited.

Occupy Comics #2: Alan Moore addresses the issue of Siegel & Schuster just in time for summer’s Man of Steel.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS4: The second volume of the smash sci-fi hit SAGA lands on the shelves along with the final volume of Jeff Lemire’s SWEET TOOTH, and wait until you see the Marvel Select GHOST RIDER figure!

Manhattan Projects #12: Crazy next level super-science and crazy out of this world personalities! Continues to be awesome!

Thor God of Thunder #9: Beautiful art and compelling story make this one of the gems of Marvel NOW! Plus its a story arc called ‘GODBOMB’!

True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys #1: Gerard Way returns to comics and Becky Cloonan on the art! It’s going to be a good one folks!

Uncanny X-Force #6: Look at that. Here I am recommending Uncanny X-Force again… because its tremendous, check it out!

Nate’s Picks!

Guardians of the Galaxy #3: Guardians of the Galaxy vs. the Badoon in the skies above London.

The Stuff of Legend Toy Collector #5: The Boogeyman has blown the whistle and the dead toys have been brought back to life. War has come in the conclusion of the current story arc.

Preacher TP Book 1: Back in print, get this condensed version of the the first 2 trades GONE TO TEXAS and UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD and read one of the greatest books ever.

Superman Unchained: Snyder. Lee. Number One. Good? We’ll see. Van Halen earworm? Yes.

Worlds’ Finest #13: One of the best books from DC right now, follow the adventures of Helena and Karen. Please.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS2: Collect all of the new WALKING DEAD series 3 Minimates, get one or both of the new TOMB RAIDER wall scrolls, or check out the new SPIDER-MAN “Cross Processed” t-shirts!

REDMOND

Joe’s Picks!

Deadpool #11: Deadpool is trying to save his “friends” from the clutches of a very angry devil, but who has the final trick up their sleeve?

Savage Wolverine #6: After Frank Cho’s epic run we get the team that started Avenging Spider-man so brilliantly, this should be good!

Superman Unchained #1: Scott Snyder and Jim Lee, arguably DC’s best writer and best artist working together on arguably DC’s best character. There’s never been a better recipe for success.

Jared’s Picks!

Black Beetle No Way Out #4: Black Beetle finally matches wits with Labyrinto. This book reads like an old pulp thriller, and the art tells half of it. This is the end of the miniseries, and we can expect another soon, hopefully this year.

Star Wars #6: You’re either reading this, or you probably don’t like Star Wars. This series feels like watching the original trilogy. In this issue, Han has to improvise a plan. Should work, right?

Victories TP 01: Michael Oeming is writing a story about drugs, psychics, and trauma. The first few issues are hard to come by, so this is definitely worth a look.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS3: Feast your eyes on the new JOKER Killing Joke statue, get a DOCTOR WHO Talking Dalek bank, or get the new X-MEN oversized poster featuring art by Djurdjevic!

U-DISTRICT

Sean’s Picks!

Six Gun Gorilla #1: Have you noticed the total lack of gorillas in your DC New 52? Well, prepare to get a years worth of vitamin G with this sci-fi western. Chock full of gorillas, guns, and gunslingers!

True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoy #1: Say what you will about the music Gerard Way produces, but this guy can actually write a comic. The spiritual successor to Umbrella Academy, Fabulous Killjoys looks to have all the stylish trimmings of an indie hit! Meet your superhero angst quota and read this joint.

Carl’s Picks!

Batman Lil Gotham #3: I’m a sucker for this Muppet Baby treatment of pretty much anything.

Dream Merchant #2: The first one impressed me and I’m excited to see more or this shiny title.

Thumbprint #1: No idea what this is, but Joe Hill wrote it. Sold.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS4: Grab the fifth softcover ASTERIX Omnibus, plan out 2014 on the new LIFE IN HELL calendar, and check out the new line of POP! figures featuring Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles!

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS1: MY LITTLE PONY Rainbow Dash plush backpacks, three different BATMAN 2.75″ PVC figures, and several styles of ADVENTURE TIME pint glasses!

EVERETT

Todd’s Picks!

Blackacre #7: New arc, same AWESOME book! Boudreau and Cavalcanti continue their dystopian adventure.

Kick-Ass 3 #1: Come see what Dave, Mindy, and the rest of the gang are up to!

Suicide Risk #2: Did you miss the first issue of this outstanding BOOM! Studios book? It’s not good to be super in this world.

The Walking Dead TP Vol 18 What Comes After: The most brutal story arc TWD has had in a while, now in trade paperback form!

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS2: Kai Arts LARA CROFT Tomb Raider figures, ARKHAM CITY Joker statues, and the long-awaited GRIMM FAIRY TALES Omnibus!

REDMOND

Joe’s Picks!

Bedlam #7: Explore the nature of evil! Nick Spencer’s dark take on the “Batman”-like mythos seeks to tell us more about who and what we are through the entertainingly macbre, and who better to illustrate that than Riley Rossmo?

Daredevil Dark Nights #1: Artist Lee Weeks is returning for this 8-issue arc featuring Daredevil in a blizzard. Our hero attempts to save a young life left out in the cold!

Legends of the Dark Knight #9: Arguably my favorite Batman book. Short story format and not worrying about continuity allows writers to tell the Batman story they really want to tell.

Jared’s Picks!

Detective Comics #21: Harper Row, and a follow-up to issue #0? Scot Eaton is drawing this one.

East of West #3: Moving quickly toward the apocalypse, Death is in control. I’m really looking forward to this one.

Ten Grand #2: I didn’t pay much attention to this one, but Templesmith does dark really well, and him drawing demons is not to be missed.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS3: DC CHESS Question & Superman 2-packs, DOCTOR WHO Tardis laplander hats, and the back-in-print HARLEY QUINN Night & Day trade paperback!

U-DISTRICT

Sean’s Picks!

East of West #3: Image can do no wrong! After years of producing lackluster superhero drivel Image has moved into the lead with multiple stunning titles. Everything about EAST OF WEST screams 80′s euro-inspired sci-fi goodness with a dash of early Chuck Dixon. Read it and know bliss.

Suicide Risk #2: Unexpected and fascinating bit of street level superhero pulp. I know I’ve read this story before but there’s something about this title that I can’t put my finger on, typical savvy Mike Carey writing.

Carl’s Picks!

Locke & Key Omega #5: You’ll miss it when it’s gone.

Supermag GN: All the cool kids want one and so do you. Get the first new Jim Rugg book in years and thank me later.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS4: STREET FIGHTER mini-figs, BATMAN Year 100 inspired t-shirts, and HARLEY QUINN face mugs!

Wake #1: 1989 saw a host of undersea horror adventure flicks like Leviathan, Deepstar Six, and of course The Abyss. Could WAKE be the next instigator in a knock-off rash of similar themed comics? I can only hope.

X-Men #1: All-Female X-Title! All-Female X-Title! All-Female X-Title! The fan-service Marvel title everyone’s been clamoring for!

Mike’s Picks!

Nowhere Men #5: Speaking of big ideas, this book has them in spades and is one of the best of the year so far!

Young Avengers #5: So basically my picks this week are a master class in making tremendous, fun, and smart comics (like this one!) is what I’m getting at.

Plus: Scott Pilgrim Color Hardcover Volume 3!

Nate’s Picks!

Star Wars Legacy #3: On the run from a deranged Imperial Knight, Ania Solo runs into another Knight. Does he want to help her or help destroy her?

TMNT Villain Microseries #2 Baxter Stockman: Baxter is working on Krang’s terror machine, does he have a way out for himself and the planet Earth?

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS1: The hardcover collection of John Byrne’s STAR TREK contributions, the INJUSTICE Wonder Woman/Grundy action figure combo, and a DOCTOR WHO Tardis safe!

EVERETT

Todd’s Picks!

Bounce #1: Joe Kelly writes it, Image publishes it, and I read it. Period.

Half Past Danger #1:WWII and Dinosaurs. Two great tastes that go great together.

Powers Bureau I don’t care about delays. New POWERS is good POWERS.

Superior Spider-Man #10: GREEN GOBLIN RUNS AMOK! (Amok amok amok amok…)

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS2: The third SCOTT PIGRIM color hardcover edition, WESLEY CRUSHERS t-shirts, and the POP! HALO 4 Spartan figure!

REDMOND

Joe’s Picks!

Avengers #12: I can’t get enough of this book, it’s rare to find a book that is so good issue to issue and yet still builds to universe changing story.

Batman Lil Gotham #2: This book is filling the whole in my heart that Tiny Titans left, if you’d like something fun and interesting to read to the kids before bed, or just want a more lighthearted look at the the world of Batman this book is for you.

Scott Pilgrim Color HC 3: My love of all things Scott Pilgrim is fanatical and well documented, these color editions have been well done and are beautiful.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS3: Get the back in print APHRODITE IX trade paperback, the second volume of PETER PANZERFAUST, and check out the ArtFX+ AQUAMAN statue!

Sean’s Picks!

Bounce #1: What lies behind the cool black shades of Joe Casey? Probably biting superhero commentary wrapped up and packaged as Spiderman’s anti-hero cousin, Bounce!

Nowhere Men #5: Normally when a comic is closing in on it’s sixth issue and doesn’t have a established narrative this would be considered a problem. Not in the case of Nowhere Men! Is it a sci-fi comic or superhero comic? All I know is this is the most exciting comic on the shelves right now!

Carl’s Picks!

Dia de los Muertos #3: Call me old fashioned, but I like when comics are big, beautiful, and printed on matte paper-stock. I’m going to miss Dia de los Muertos.

Occupy Comics #1: Alan Moore leads a who’s-who of the discontent. Personal fave Ron Wimberly makes a rare appearance too. Count me in.

Solid State Tank Girl #1: How does an institution this old still manage to seem so young and fresh?

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS4: More ARCHIE than you thought you needed in the 1000-page digest, hardcover and softcover versions of Wally Wood’s EERIE TALES OF CRIME & HORROR, and a new assortment of BATMAN buttons!

Aquaman TP Vol 1 The Trench and Aquaman HC Vol 2 The Others: If you haven’t been reading the best Arthur Curry stories in a very, VERY long time, now is your chance to rectify that. Geoff Johns is magic.

Battlestar Galactica #1: This IS your father’s BSG. Original recipe Adama, Apollo, and Starbuck are back in this new ongoing series from Dynamite!

Nightwing #20: As Dick sets up a new life in the Windy City, trouble is always in the loop.

Marjorie’s Picks!

Fatale #14: The Flashback issue when Jo meets Mr. Bishop for the first time!!!

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe #2: If you liked the micro-series from the 80′s, you will enjoy this version as well.

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic #7: Quickly pick up your copy as they go fast!!! Also, check out our MLP T-shirts!

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS2: Speaking of MY LITTLE PONY the first trade paperback is out this week, the new BARNEY STINSON talking wobbler is lengen…wait for it…DARY, and snuggle up in the new WONDER WOMAN fleece cozy!

REDMOND

Joe’s Picks!

Avengers Enemy Within #1: The first big crossover between Avengers Assemble and Captain Marvel, both critically acclaimed books that don’t reach the audience they deserve.

Dream Thief #1: Can you imagine waking up every morning to find that you committed crimes during the night and now you were left to dispose of the evidence? The cops really aren’t going to believe “ghosts made me do it.”

Regular Show #1: Another Number 1! Cartoon Network continues bringing their hilarious series to comics. First it was Adventure Time, then Bravest Warriors, and with this the trifecta is complete and the prophecies are fulfilled.

Jared’s Picks!

Battlestar Galactica #1: Alternate reality in classic continuity. I’m hoping for campy charm.

Marceline and the Scream Queens TP: Meredith Gran has created the most fun vampire-based comic I’ve ever read. This miniseries is a blast, and the art is amazing.

The Massive TP: Not new this week, but this science fiction piece deserves more attention. If you like apocalypse stories, bottle episodes, or exploring the nature of the human beast, pick up a copy.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS3: The new assortment of SOUTH PARK minis are here, get the Peggy Carter in your life some CAPTAIN AMERICA shield stud earrings, and for game night pick up the new ZOMBIE INFLATABLE CATCH GAME!

U-DISTRICT

Sean’s Picks!

Conan the Barbarian #16: “Hao! Dai ye! We won again! This is good, but what is best in life? The open steppe, fleet horse, falcons at your wrist, and the wind in your hair. Wrong! Conan! What is best in life? To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women. That is good! That is good.” And if that doesn’t sum up the worthiness of Brian Wood’s Conan then I don’t know what does.

Legend of Luther Strode #5: Only the herculean behemoth Luther Strode can overcome the malevolent mechanization of a cabal of dirty cops, mercs and even the one they call JACK! Fun ultra-violence with no amount of pretension everything the 90lb weakling needs.

Carl’s Picks!

The Dream Merchant #1: There’s a special place in heaven for pretty comics with ‘number one’ on their covers. Let’s take a chance, shall we?

Fatale #14: Eisner nominated, so you know it’s legit.

From Hell Companion SC: Not many comics are dense enough to merit a separate companion edition, but From Hell is certainly a good candidate. Also: There will be Eddie Campbell.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS4: The new RISK LEGACY game is here, get the FUTURAMA plushes while they last, and check out the new BATMAN Black & White Mike Allred statue!

Sean’s Picks!

Batman #20: Batman has always had the most recognizable cadre of sinister super-villains. But with every host of villainy some baddies just never get their day in the sun. Over looked and under appreciated Clayface is finally getting the treatment he deserves.

Chin Music #1: Steve Niles puts his horror spin on prohibition-era gangsters, while Tony Harris churns out page after page of exquisite art. A must read for anyone who’s enjoyed The Damned or Fatale.

Carl’s Picks!

I Love Trouble #5: I’m a sucker for anything printed on matte paper stock, and I’m really digging I Love Trouble’s youthful artistic sensibility.

Mylo Xyloto #4: If you told me that the company responsible for Simpsons comics had put together a comic book based on a concept album by Coldplay, I would tell you to shut your lying mouth. And if you told me that the comic had lasted four issues and wasn’t half bad, I’d try to have you indicted for perjury. This title remains a curious oddity: The ridiculous source material is strangely appropriate for an ongoing comic book, and the art is straight out of Doug Tennapel b-sides. Depending on your tastes, this may be an adaptation that exceeds the source material’s quality.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS4: The new MICHAEL GOLDEN Artist’s Portfolio, Volume 3 of Bendis’ ULTIMATE COMICS SPIDER-MAN, and the full line of POP! IRON MAN 3 figures!

The new PREVIEWS catalog is out this week. Pick it up and let us know what you want!

LYNNWOOD

Mike’s Picks!

East of West #2: Another Hickman book, another hit. The only thing predictable is the quality, of which there is plenty!

FF #6: Fraction and the Allred’s are going all out on this book and it really shows. One of the most enjoyable comics out there!

Helheim #2: VIKING FRANKENSTEIN! That. Right there. Sells itself really.

Mighty Skullkickers #1: Amazing Adjective Adventures Advance Apace! Fantastic Fantasy Fun Found Forthwith! (What? Alliteration is almost as fun as a new adjective every month.)

Young Avengers #4: A team of fan favorite characters masterfully guided by the efforts of Gillen and McKelvie! Check it out!

Nate’s Picks!

Guardians of the Galaxy #2: BADOON!!!! They are attacking Earth and the Guardians are across the galaxy dealing with their own problems.

Manhattan Projects #11: The Science Lords have gained total control of the earth, what is in store for humanity now.

Star Wars Legacy #2: Prisoner of the Floating World continues. Ania Solo finds a lightsaber, now she is on the run from the local police and an Imperial Knight.

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS1: Want to learn a new language? Perhaps the <strong<STAR TREK HC on Klingon is for you! Get all of the IRON MAN Heroclix you want, and check out the new SUPERMAN figurine and pendant set!

EVERETT

Todd’s Picks!

Answer #4: Will this conclusion live up to the series title, or leave us with more questions?

Helheim #2: This is like Conan mixed with Frankenstein. Potent.

Jennifer’s Blood #26: Jenn’s got plans, and they don’t involve being in prison much longer.

Jupiter’s Legacy #1: This long awaited series from Mark Millar is finally here! Being the offspring of a hero isn’t easy. Sometimes it’s toxic. I can’t wait to get a look at this book.

Marjories’s Picks!

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic #6 & My Little Pony Micro Series #3: Both are coming out this week!! Come get yours and even some alternate covers while supplies last! (Also, Adventure Time lovers, we still have some #14 and #15 left and a few of #3 AND #4 from the micro series Fionna & Cake!)

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS2: Finally, the STAR WARS kid’s book “Vader’s Little Princess” hits the shelves, the ADVENTURE TIME Memory game is great family fun, and get the new Series 8 PREDATORS action figures!

REDMOND

Joe’s Picks!

Avengers #10: I was skeptcal when the “New Universal” characters started appearing but this series has remained brilliant and driven. Hickman is taking us for a ride here and I’m excited to see where it goes next.

Helheim #2: Frankenstein meets vikings, in all the best ways. The dead rise and axes and swords put them right back down!

Justice League Dark #19: The Hunter saga is over and the dark Justice League have returned to their main universe, but who will remain on the team and what magcial danger awaits them? I’m excited to find out.

Jared’s Picks!

Jupiter’s Legacy #1: Mark Millar and Frank Quietly telling a story about a second generation of superheroes.

Mind MGMT #10: Meru and Lyme need to find The Futurist, to find Mind Management’s training center. But how to find him?

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS3: Get the 4th trade volume of the hit MORNING GLORIES series, check out the new DRAGONBALL Z plush assortments, and the MUNSTERS “Drag-U-La” die-cast car!

U-DISTRICT

Sean’s Picks!

East of West #2: Wow that first issue did not disappoint! Hickman’s alternate American history breeds a bizarre bleak future where the four horsemen of the apocalypse have risen! So much of this comic harkens back to the independent 80′s with terrific melding of sci-fi and fantasy elements.

Jupiter’s Legacy #1: Ever since Millar became a less a creative and more a commodity its been hard to pick up any one of his titles. Jupiter’s Legacy however has the potential of being the exception. Maybe it’s the quizzically lumpy Quitely art or the Morrisonesque title? Who knows! The only way to find out is to read it this Wednesday. Another breakout Image independent!

Carl’s Picks!

Amalas Blade #1: I think I saw this one in DHP a while back, and I feel like taking a chance with the #1.

Mark Ryden Gay 90’s HC: Haters are going to hate. Mark Ryden’s going to paint. Dicaprio’s going to buy the paintings, and I’m going to look at this coffee table book of the paintings.

Meathaus #8 Headgames: The work in this book is likely to seem a little crude by their current standards, but it’s important to remember that comic book big names like Brandon Graham, James Jean, Becky Cloonan, and Dash Shaw were all just art students in the Big Apple throwing together jams and zines once upon a time. Think of this as the comic equivalent of seeing Hollywood’s yearbook photos.

Uncanny X-Men #5: Bachalo is one of my favorite pencillers working for Marvel these day – both he and Immonen agree with my sensibility of what amounts to good drawing in a superhero book: The figures are decent, the faces are expressive thanks to some good, old-fashion cartooning, and the page layouts are exciting and (usually) easy to read. Bachalo is a pretty decent colorist too, and I like how his color schemes keep my eyes from getting bored during the slower moments.

Sabrina’s Picks!

Injustice: Gods Among Us #4: OK, I admit it. I played the game. I know, I feel shame for me too. And I even have more shame because I actually like this series! I mean, Superman is being a jerk and it’s kinda entertaining to watch.

Knights of Sidonia GN Vol #2: Tsutomu Nihei (HALO: The Graphic Novel) brings his amazing style to the this highly anticipated series. A space colony, giants, giant robots, incredible fight scenes and a few sprinkles of humor are what you’ll find in this solid title from Vertical. Don’t miss you chance to get in on this series!

My Little Pony Micro Series # 3: Hi, my name is Sabrina. I’m an adult woman and I like multi-colored little ponies. And while I like ponies (and Twilight is the best), I have to say that Rarity is up there. Missing this would be “the! Worst! Possible! Thing!”

ALSO ARRIVING AT CS4: The new JOE HILL HC Treasury edition is out this week, X-MEN welcomes “Longshot” back into print, and don’t miss out on the POP WALKING DEAD Michonne & Pet Zombies sets!
